This did a decent job removing buildup. It didn't do a perfect job but it definitely helped. Follow the instructions and run a few cycles. It's easy to use and seems safe.

The descaler works, but the bottle is only 8 oz and you need one per descaling. If you descale regularly, you'll need to buy more. It's effective, though. 4 stars because for the price you could get a larger quantity.
